What is global warming? What can we do about it?

There have always been phases of global warming in Earth’s history, but this is the first time in history that global temperature increases have increased so rapidly in a single period. Leading scientists estimate that global surface temperatures will rise by 1.5 degrees Celsius per year by the end of this century, despite policies to combat them. Global warming is a serious problem for the global economy, the environment and human health. The planet’s immediate and direct changes are caused by the greenhouse gas pollution that causes it. The extent of global warming depends mainly on the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and their concentration on the earth’s surface. Earth’s temperature change may seem small, but it has already warmed by 1 degree compared to pre-industrial levels. This is because the amount of additional energy needed to raise the world temperature even slightly is enormous. 

Today, the effects of global warming or climate change are proportionate to the increase in greenhouse gas concentrations. The effects of climate change and global warming can have devastating effects on human society. If we act vigorously and soon (within the next decade), we will be able to minimize, if at all, the damage caused by climate change. Scientists have found that the increase in temperature on Earth over time is closely correlated with the increase in greenhouse gases in the Earth’s atmosphere. Humans are responsible for more than 90% of greenhouse gas emissions in our atmosphere, and they have increased by 45% since the beginning of our Industrial Revolution. Although man-made greenhouse gases are at levels not seen since at least the late nineteenth century, the effects will continue and increase until we begin to bring our emissions under control. Therefore, we must take responsibility for the damage we have done to our planet and look for ways to prevent further damage. We already have so many opportunities that can have a lasting and positive impact on our environment, such as the development of renewable energies and the creation of clean water and air. Most scientists will tell you that global warming is real and that it is likely to do some damage, but the scientific evidence is based on probability rather than certainty. Whether human behavior contributes to this, and whether this contribution is significant, or whether anything can be done to remedy it, is a matter of scientific debate, not scientific fact. The danger posed by the problem and its effects is widely debated. Technology will find a way to get us out of this global mess – warming – and policy changes will ultimately be unnecessary. Global warming is a negative climatic change caused by a continuous increase in the Earth’s atmospheric temperature. The cause of global warming is the accumulation of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from the burning of fossil fuels. If we are to prevent a global warming catastrophe caused by man, CO2 emissions must be reduced by at least 80% by 2100. Global warming is one of the most serious problems facing the world today, and it is highlighted in the US Department of Energy’s annual report on climate change. Most of the tasks completed involved preparing a bespoke written paper at the college level, and weather patterns are changing because of the impact of global warming on the climate system as a whole, not just in the United States. Combustion of fossil fuels releases carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, which absorbs more heat from the sun. There is no question that the Earth’s climate is changing, mainly as a result of global warming and climate change. 

In the Northern Hemisphere, sea level rise, decreasing snow cover, more frequent droughts and floods, and more extreme weather events are evidence of observed climate change. In the Atlantic, average temperatures will rise by five degrees by the end of the next century, according to the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Warming will be difficult to avoid and cause sea-level rise, which in turn will lead to more severe storms in the future. Future climate change is predicted to bring more extreme weather events such as droughts, floods and extreme heat waves.
